Hello cool cats!

Melbourne’s Bike Move has grown some massive interest and so we have now created this website to help showcase the latest moves and create an avenue for peeps (people) to ask for moving assistance using nothing but the best - BICYCLES!

What is this all about?

A crew of Melbourne cyclists, radicals, lovers of sustainable transport, critical masers, bike fun crew, and generally just good hearted fun loving individuals have gathered together to offer there help to do the one thing that is closest to your heart — move your house, more your apartment, and move you to your new humble abode (translation: move you to your new house)

We hope to see you at the next bike move adventure and remember just because you sign up to a the bike move email list doesn’t mean that you have to help move each time just help out when you can!

Our Dream…

Our focus is to empower people to adopt a growing revolution of anti-car culture. This means that we are encouraging people to learn how to find alternative ways of doing things and this is one way to facilitate doing this in a fun manner with the support of other people. Plus heaps of people the road actually make pretty amazing supportive comments about what we are doing — yes impressive but you know that secretly they want to do this too. We are approaching a world that has major climate change issues and hopefully this can help facilitate that much less impact here in OZ.

And it’s important to remember that you don’t have to be an amazing rider for this to happen! It’s about the fun, journey, ride, and heck being on a bike - WOOT WOOT
